Together, we can keep pets out of harm's way.

Through our Foundation partners – the Petfinder.com Foundation and the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) – Paws to Save Pets^SM funds training that prepares professionals to help pets in need following natural disasters. These funds also support emergency relief both locally and nationally, enable veterinary clinics to rebuild and restock clinics and help to reunite pets with their owners. It focuses on three key areas:

Readiness – Funding to educate, train and support veterinary clinics and pet caregivers in disaster preparedness and relief.

Response – Maintaining local and national infrastructures for emergency relief and funding for medication and shelters.

Rebuilding – Reimbursing veterinarians to help them rebuild clinics and restock medical supplies.

Thanks to the support of caring and compassionate pet owners, thousands of dedicated veterinarians and tireless volunteers across the country, well over $3 million in funds have been raised through Paws to Save Pets. These funds have provided aid to countless pets in need and helped facilitate happy reunions across the country.
